Yoga & Pregnancy

Relax and enjoy your pregnancy.
Our 3 weeks ongoing Yoga and Pregnancy Program introduces a sequence of asanas (postures) that are designed to help maintain abdominal tone and strengthen the back whilst providing breathing exercises and a relaxation technique for the mind. With the Yoga and Pregnancy Program most mothers find that they are able to return to the workforce early by regaining physical condition and fitness quickly as well as effectively keeping above fatigue.

Your program can be personalized depending on your specific needs - is also in accordance with ACOG's (The American College of  Obstetrician and Gynecologists) 2008 guidelines. If however, you have injuries or a medical condition you will need to speak to Sharon so that she can assist you in deciding whether or not the class is suitable for your needs or look in our one-on-one section.

Sharon Byron-McKay (B. H. SC) Physiotherapist, and General obstetric nurse and Dr. Lincoln Wong take this course.

Class time:- Saturdays 11.45 am.  Class fee is $100.00 for 4 classes. Class fee is payable by cash or cheque (no eft pos).

You will need to bring along your own mat or hire one of our top quality mats at $2.00 per class
